CO2 is a gas that displaces the Air we breathe. Consequently it can cause SUFFOCATION.
It is denser then air and will accumulate at the bottom of inclosed spaces.
Use in well ventilated areas.
Dry Ice is extremely cold (-110 ℉ / -80℃) and will Quickly Freeze whatever it comes in contact with ---- including your skin!
Always wear your gloves and safety glasses when handling dry ice!
This apparatus operates under pressure!
Never unscrew the tube or the end cap when there is pressure inside the tube!
Never open the tube when it is running!
There is a 350psi safety valve installed between the Blue valve and the Tube. If you are not sure if there is pressure inside the tube, pull on the safety valve with a pair of pliers, if there is pressure inside the tube it will be released.
The safety valve will “pop” when the tube is filled with ice, if you are using the “high pressure tanks”, this is normal.
The safety valve may pop when used with any tank that has a pressure greater then 350psi.
With practice you will learn how to make dry ice without popping the safety valve.
